Oops: Romney Introduces Ryan As ‘The Next President Of TheUnited States’

 

 

Mitt Romney accidentally introduced Paul Ryan as “the next president of the United States, Paul Ryan!” at his introduction rally on Saturday. 

After Ryan entered to soaring patriotic music, Romney delayed his speech with aquick correction.

“Every now and then I’m known to make a mistake,” he joked, adding that Ryan’s selection was not one. “He’s going to be the next VICE president of the United States,” he said.
