#Iran engaging in sectarian discrimination against its Sunnis?

(PHOTO AP) Historically, Iran had been virtually Sunni, with small minorities of Shiites only in some cities, until the 16th century when the Turkish-Sunni Safavid dynasty, ruling over the Iranian region, changed its sect to become Shiite due to political considerations.

G - Zero world by Ian bremmer : Every country would be for itself - No one's world-- american+eurpean nexus break up..US center of allies ( pivot) shift from Western Europe towards Trans-Pacific (Latin America+Asia-Pacific) and aslo shift in the middle east!....from israel towards two states solution( in future US the empire may stop supporting Isreal by 2040 who knows..) and from arabs to ..turkey or Iran...time will decide....but the shift has started taking it's direction US policy direction has started moving in that direction of the shift ...necessary requirement for keeping the grip on power in 21st century........
